The stove sits on the starboard side, just inside the companionway. There is a cutting board on top of burner.
The step from cockpit to interior is the 'dull' teak board in lower right-hand side of photo. Our igloo cooler (13"x13"x23" - I think it's about 36 qt capacity) sits under this step. The step folds up, out-of-the way, if you want.
